Grafted Branches can come about in many ways – such as adoption, remarriage, fostering and donor-assisted reproduction and these families and family members do have a different experience than families created through birth alone.

Grafts can be amazingly strong and beautiful because they are born of love and connection.  But when we have grafted branches in our family trees, there are also losses and trauma that predate the coming together in love with a forever family.  Often, we may not realize the impact that the scars can have on our ongoing lives, attachments and relationships.
